Landmark Trials: The Case for Restrictive Transfusion

Landmark Trials: The Case for Restrictive Transfusion

Two decades of trials pointing the same direction, and the places where the rule does not hold.

The consistent finding

The exceptions worth knowing

Acute coronary syndrome remains genuinely contested, and the trials were not designed to answer questions about chronic transfusion dependence.
