I’m an Internal Medicine resident transitioning into my second year of residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi.
Hematology has long been among my strongest clinical interests and I created Blood & Beyond as a platform to explore it further, strengthening my own understanding, and sharing what I learn along the way.
The primary focus of this forum will be hematology and oncology, especially topics that are relevant to residents and internists. I hope to discuss important concepts, review emerging evidence, break down landmark studies, and share insights inspired by interesting cases encountered in clinical practice.
The name Blood & Beyond reflects both the focus and the flexibility of this platform. Blood will remain at its heart, but medicine rarely fits neatly within the boundaries of a single specialty. From time to time, I will also explore cases, clinical questions, and lessons that extend beyond hematology and oncology.
This platform is also a journal to document the concepts, cases, papers, and experiences that shape my development as a physician. I do not claim to have all the answers. I am learning through this process, and I welcome any feedback, different perspectives, and suggestions that can make the content more accurate and useful.
Above all, I am building Blood & Beyond because I genuinely enjoy learning, teaching, and discussing medicine.
